The green apple frozen purées have a beautiful bright colour. Coming from the Granny Smith variety, it is sourced locally by Boiron in France. Hand-picked when they are ripe, the selection with its unique use of the skin, gives this purée its intense green colour.
The crisp tart flavour of orchard-fresh green apples in the convenience of a frozen fruit purée. Make delicious fruit treats including sauces for plated desserts, ice creams, and sorbets. Green apple purée is delicious in fruit jellies, popsicles, and paletas. It can also be added to vinaigrettes for salads such as a grilled chicken, apple and toasted walnut salad.
Obtained with the edible parts of the fruit, then sieved and finely chopped, without concentration, Boiron's frozen fruit purées are made with 90% ripe fruit and 10% sugars.
